To promote the exchange of ideas that has been a hallmark of this
meeting in the past, each oral session will conclude with a discussion
period where the audience is invited to ask more in-depth questions or
share ideas related to the session topic or any of the talks
therein.
Several new features have been added to promote engagement with our
virtual attendees. The more interactive sessions (i.e., posters and
the Dragonfly panel) have been scheduled for earlier in the day with
the idea that many of our colleagues are attending from later time
zones. All oral sessions will be recorded and the video will be made
available for registered attendees to “catch up” with missed talks
before the meeting restarts the next day. Days 2 and 3 will begin with
30-minute time blocks for virtual attendees to pose questions to the
previous day’s speakers. Additionally, we will have a virtual
conference center available in Gathertown where attendees can interact
and attend the virtual poster session.
